About the Author

My name is Blayne Kessler and I have been an avid NBA fan for years. I started watching when I was ten years old, and since then my love and passion for both the NBA and basketball as a whole has only grown since then. Watching the 2014 Spurs with their ball movement and complete unselfishness really sold me on how beautiful the game could be, and was when I really fell in love with basketball. Living near Cleveland at the time, I was also a Cavaliers fan and watching LeBron come back and give back to the city with a championship was one of the most memorable experiences of my formative years, cementing my love for hoops. I have a real passion, watching constantly and consuming as much basketball media as I can. I love studying the game, watching film, and talking with others about the sport. I started this blog to share my thoughts and opinions on anything related to basketball, hence the name Random Hoops, and hope to one day work for a large sports media company and get paid for my work.
